Samuel Butts is native from Gaston NC,  who relocated to Charlotte, NC where He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. After graduation, Samuel began his career in the utility industry with Duke Energy working in power distribution and construction, where he gained valuable experience in power systems and infrastructure. In 2025, he joined SE Engineering, marking his first year with the firm. Samuel is currently focused on expanding his expertise and is actively pursuing his Professional Engineer (P.E.) license to further advance his career in the engineering field.
